Self published writer seeks artist for ongoing series

I write an adventure/science fiction series titled Wall Of Angels (No, it's not a Chistian comic book). I've self published the first six issues with the help of the Jimenez Brothers (1-4) and Reno Maniquis (5-6). I'm looking for a competent artist to continue beginning with issue 7. I will pay $35/page for completed pages (penciled and inked). I know it's not much but that's my current budget, although I'll bump it up to $50/page if you can color as well. Comic writer seeks artist(s) to collaborate with on two projects. If interested, please provide samples of work (published or unpublished), brief background and artistic influences. PROJECTS: 1.“A Season in Hell”168 page graphic novel 2.“Reporting from the Drudgery” collection of short stories/comics (20 pages each). I competed last year with Steel Rising (http://www.smallpressidol.com/2009/steelrising.htm) and made it to the semi-final round where we placed 5th (the top 4 moved into the finals). I'd like to give it another shot and take it all the way this time. No pay to offer, I'll cover the entry fee, and any prizes will be split (grand prize is cash, a publishing deal, and a toy made based on our project). This is a huge opportunity for exposure and to make connections even if we don't win. I'm already working on the pitch and have an 8 page script that's going to be re-written for this. I just need the right artist to join me. It's going to take lots of hard work and dedication, I need someone who can really commit to this and make it a priority.
