Announcements Guidelines
This page has been designed for comic creators and the Work In Comics members to have a platform to promote upcoming events to all visitors and users of this website. Before you get into the mix of things, Work In Comics would like to take this opportunity to give you some tips to help make everyone’s experience here a good one. What exactly is an announcement on Work In Comics or what types of things can you be post as news here on Work In Comics...
Types of Announcements or Events you can post:
- Do you have a print comic or graphic novel coming out?
- Are you releasing a digital comic any time soon?
- Do you have a cool webcomic that you would like to promote?
- Do you have a comic blog or website that would be useful to comic creators?
- Will you be at any upcoming conventions?
- Do you know of any tools or resources that can help comic creators?
- Do you know of any highly important, top secret comic news that you would like to share?
- Do you have a contest or competition that you would like people to know about?
- Are you having a house party and looking to invite a few hundred people?
Well then POST IT and let everyone know about it. Your post might even end up on the front page of Work In Comics.
Do's and Don'ts plus Additional Things to Remember:
Don't forget to add your contact information, website links or any pictures that might be useful. We don't mind creators using this platform as a space to make announcements and promote projects as long as it doesn't come across as spam. If your announcement is pertaining to "looking for work or services" we ask that you create a post on Work In Comics and place your request in the proper category and do not post job related information on this Announcements and Events section. All announcements are subject to approval by staff and may take up to 24 hours to appear. Work In Comics staff will remove any content that they deem inappropriate for this page.
